Systems developed and under development together with artificial intelligence technology: for example, the development of autonomous systems narrows the areas of use of human power is spreading rapidly to societies and causing institutions to undergo changes on a broader scale.

Wars have been going on since the first humanity and gained new dimensions in the last century fed by different objects. As the aerospace and space race increased in the bipolar world, whose tensions increased during the Cold War period, it has become clear that the unpredictable works on rocket technology in the coming years will be at the center of the power focus.

Turkish stance towards the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine is based on the national interest that implies avoiding risks and profiting from opportunities created by the conflict. The ultimate aim is to make its own place in the post-war international system more optimal than it was in the pre-war one.

In the 100th year of the Republic, on 23-24 November 2023, the 9th Istanbul Security Conference titled as "Strategic Transformation in the Ecosystem" will be held by TASAM-NDSI with global participation at Istanbul Kent University Kağıthane Campus. Turkey is attempting to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), of which Argentina is a member. The "FTA Framework Agreement" signed in 2008 to determine the framework of FTA negotiations between Turkey and MERCOSUR entered into force in 2019.

As it was firstly held in Türkiye in 2015, the 9th of Istanbul Security Conference with the main theme of "Strategic Transformation in the Ecosystem: Climate, Nourishment, Demography, Meritocracy, Economy, Health, Education, Employment, Family-Youth and City Security" will be held by TASAM National Defence and Security Institute (NDSI) in Istanbul on 23-24 November 2023, in the 100th year of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

4th Marine and Maritime Security Forum 2022 whose main theme “Asian Century, Maritime State Ecosystem, and Blue Planet“ was held by TASAM National Defence and Security Institute, together with the 8th Istanbul Security Conference on the date of 03 November 2022 in Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Istanbul Merter, simultaneously as a sub-event.

Unfortunately, in the past few years we have had the opportunity make sure that, despite strong development, people are still vulnerable, and humanity is going through difficult periods in which wise strategic decisions are needed, so that progress does not stop, so that cooperation continues, the relations between the states become deeper.

Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have been linked by a cultural bond since ancient times. Dynamic relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan are not only between countries, but also between peoples. This is a proof of the willingness to cooperate in the economic, social, international and especially military fields.

The historical and beautiful city of Istanbul has long been known as the bridge connecting the West and the East, and I hope that the current event will help to better understanding the two sides of the Bosporus Strait in order to reach a prosperous and developed region.
