The preparatory meeting of the annual conference which will be arranged in 2011 of “Balkan Communication Network“ established by think tanks of Balkans led by Turkey was held in Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia on 4th April 2011. During the meeting to which representatives of Turkey, Macedonia and notably TASAM Committee attended, the organization Committee of Conference has been established besides assessing these concerned preparations.
Balkan Communication Network, building a parallel diplomacy able to contribute reinforcing mutual trust and understanding between Balkan countries and public will be carried out within the collaboration of Central TASAM in Ohrid-Macedonia and MANU between 15-16 September 2011.
The previous annual meeting of Balkan Communication Network, ensuring a tight collaboration between active think tanks in the district was held with the collaboration between SAM and TASAM in Tekirdag on 30th April 2010.Some countries such as Moldova, Montenegro and Slovenia attended to the meeting for the first time. Also the new think tanks from the other Balkans countries were approved.
Balkan Communication Network building alternative constructive approaches for the decision makers through closeness provided between think tanks of Balkan countries and tight collaboration will arrange the conference hosted by Albanian Institute for International Studies in 2011.
