The Ukraine-Russia war has had shocking effects across the African continent and all over the world. Many African states, which are currently struggling with political, economic and sociocultural problems, are exposed to the effects of this war when they have yet to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
BRAINS2 TÜRKİYE is a brand/initiative with multi-programs based in Turkey which develops market, ecosystem and capacity in the ‘Biotechnology’, ‘Robotics’, ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Nanotechnology’, ‘Space’ and ‘Strategic Services’ fields. The programs planned through identical visions and strategies for each main fields which transforms the new business models and multidimensional power distribution in the global economy, are implemented under the common title of BRAINS2 TÜRKİYE.

Indeed, Russia is a country that has had its ups and downs but has the ability to renew itself by 'focusing' every time.
After the Industrial Revolution, with the development of production, trade, logistics and markets, it is seen that Britain in the 19th century and the United States later in the 20th century owed their control over world trade to navy.
The rapid development of information technologies has brought security problems of the same magnitude. In the early years of the Internet, "accessibility" came to the fore among the three important components of information security, "accessibility, confidentiality, and integrity"; First, the development and operation of the Internet were considered, and "confidentiality and integrity" remained in the background.
Transforming the relations between Turkey and Middle East (or in a narrower context between Turkey and the Gulf States - where strategic dialogue is still developing despite its strong historical and cultural background) from a fragile axis to a cooperation axis that will adapt to new balances, new roles and new alliances is an obligation rather than an option. Both intra-continental and international defence and security strategies need to be determined in a way that does not exploit these qualities of Africa and that primarily treats them as gains in favor of the continent.

The deepening of the last wave of globalization that started in the 1980s brought with it unprecedented alignments and separations at the global level.

First of all, where did the Istanbul Economics Congress originate from, why are we doing this program, I would like to make a very short summary, in fact, the first speech note is “Istanbul Economics Congress Proactive Past and Future”. This is Prof. Dr. An initiative that we started under the leadership of our teacher Sedat AYBAR. Four meetings were held as Istanbul Economics Talks and their reports were published.
Istanbul Security Conference, which took place for the first time in Turkey in 2015, was held under the main theme “Post-Security Geopolitics: China, Russia, India, Japan And NATO”, by TASAM’s National Defence and Security Institute on 04-05 November 2021 in DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Atasehir Hotel & Conference Centre.
Dear Ministers, Chief of Staff, bureaucrats, guests, welcome to the 7th Istanbul Security Conference, which is organized by TASAM. A series of important meetings, concerning the proactive aspects of security concept, will be held one after the other in different halls during the two-day schedule of the conference.
On the other hand, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as an island country (known as Ceylon till 1972) in the Indian Ocean, has an acreage of 65,610 km2, population of over 22 million, GDP of 88.9 billion dolar (2018), and memberships in the international organizations such as ASEAN, CICA, SAARC, WTO etc. The country is a liberal economy, governed by multi-party, democratically elected governments.
There has been a slight recovery from global environmental crisis depending on the relative decrease in industrial activities and transportation services and as a positive result of the world wide-ranging restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected the whole world since 2020.
On the other hand, USA is a recognized power in global arena with its acreage, population of over 330 million, development in industrialization and technology, growing economy, natural resources, demographic structure,veto power in the United Nations, position in IMF and NATO.
Mexico with its area of near 2 million km², strategic position in Central America, population of approximately 124 million, human resources, GDP of 1,223 trillion dollars and developing economy is a prominent country. Mexico also is a notable member and observer to many international organizations such as; UN, OAS (Organization of American States), Rio Group, OECD, ANDEAN, SICA (Central American Integration System), G-20, NAFTA.
Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, is a country that attracts the attention of the world with its strategic location connecting Asia to Africa and Mediterranean to Indian Ocean, its leading role in the Arab and Islamic world, 34 million dynamic population, natural resources, 20% share in the proven oil reserves of the world, economic potential that it has thanks to its tourism and human resources, its activities in the international organizations.
On the other hand, Brazil, which is the sixth country with its population of over 213 million and the fifth largest country with its surface area of over 8.5 million km², is an important political and economic power in Latin America and is one of the major players at the global level.
The biggest problem in trade between Russia and Turkey is that; this relation has begun to shape in favor of Russia. In long term; this situation may cause political and economical problems with regards to sustainment of relations. Turkey’s growing need for energy and high energy prices are some of the reasons behind this unbalanced trade relation. Russia’s specific rules on foreign trade are also deepening this problem.
People's Republic of China has become the largest trade partner of Turkey, among Japan and South Korea and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In parallel with the increase in trade volume, the relations between the two countries have gained momentum.
Turkey is attempting to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), of which Argentina is a member. The "FTA Framework Agreement" signed in 2008 to determine the framework of FTA negotiations between Turkey and MERCOSUR entered into force in 2019.
The development of new alliances on security can be read from the risks and the initiatives undertaken by dominant countries. The quality of the concepts of property and power, and the business model change historically. The future of the EU with the "Failure in Success" syndrome will be determined by the results of the polarization which revived in the West after the Brexit. Along with all these developments, "Ecosystem of safety" changes with the law.
